MANAGEMENT COUPLE OR GENERAL MANAGER of MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE COMPANY

DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION OF BUSINESS

Community Waste Solution (CWS), located in beautiful Haines, Alaska, is a leader in our industry and only compost facility in Alaska licensed to make compost from municipal solid waste and bio-solids.  The State of Alaska has been very interested in what CWS does at our facility since starting composting about five years ago.  The State often refers other communities to CWS when they are questioned regarding the best way to handle both municipal solid waste and bio-solids (which are both a huge expense to properly dispose of in Alaska due to the weather).

Haines has been classified as one of the top ten places to live in for outdoor adventure in United States.  Haines is located seventy miles north of Juneau, on the shores of the upper Lynn Canal, and surrounded by majestic mountains.  Haines has abundant fish and wild game as well as being the home of the Bald Eagle Preserve.  There are many Haines web sites to give you a look at this wonderful community.  Just Google “Haines, AK”.

We are seeking a general manager and/or couple with maintenance and office experience.
